Groomsy’s role
Groomsy operates a managed marketplace that helps customers discover and book independent beauty professionals. The selected professional performs the service and must follow Groomsy’s onboarding and operating standards.
Booking requests
A paid request is not confirmed until the professional accepts it. The professional has 15 minutes to respond. Rejection or timeout results in automatic cancellation and a full refund initiation.
Accurate information
Customers must provide a reachable phone number, accurate address and any service-relevant safety or sensitivity information they choose to share. Professionals may discuss whether a requested service can be performed safely before beginning.
Reviews and media
Only customers with completed bookings may review a professional. Review text is required; media is optional and may be moderated before publication. Customers must have the right to upload any media they submit.
Products and substitutions
Product choices are subject to the selected professional’s confirmed stock. Groomsy should show the exact brand, variant, available label or ingredient information and any surcharge before payment. A professional must discuss and obtain customer agreement before substituting a selected product during the appointment.
Owner details still required
Before publication, add the legal entity name, registered address, customer-support contact, grievance process, governing law and dispute resolution terms approved by counsel.
